Cowboy Canyon Winery had its soft opening on Saturday November 23, 2013. We did very little advertising, mostly family, friends and friends of friends yet 250 people showed up; it’s been great party every weekend since. I had a great time on the radio KOCI 101.5 FM Sunday Brunch with Lynn & Tom, they’re on every Sunday at 11:00 AM. This show was broadcast as a remote from The Cannery restaurant in Newport Beach. Lynn Selich’s Co-host’s name was Tom then Lynn waved to another guy “Hi Tom” then two Gentlemen walked in and introduced themselves as Captain Tom & Captain Tom…..I was surrounded by Toms. The interview went really well and all the Toms and a few others wanted my business card. One of the Captain Toms came into the winery the next week and joined our “Pardners” wine club.
